Properties

In the B.I.O.Key® trace element chelates, the metal ion is bonded in chelate form to amino-acids of hydrolysed soya protein. This chelatisation prevents the formation of non-resorbable complexes, which are produced by the use of inorganically bonded trace elements. In the small intestine, B.I.O.Key® products are therefore two to five times more easily available than inorganic trace elements. This enables the improvement of the efficiency of trace elements in the feed, and the reduction of the excretion rate. The risk of a physiological deficiency and performance depression is also reduced. B.I.O.Key® products also contribute indirectly to the stabilisation of other feed ingredients, such as vitamins and minerals. Under feed regulations, B.I.O.Key® trace element chelates belong to the group of feed additives.

Definition

E.C.O.Trace® products are high-quality trace elements. Iron, zinc, copper, manganese are organically bonded by the amino-acid glycine. Under feed regulations, they belong to the group of feed additives.

This enables the improvement of the efficiency of trace elements in the feed, and the reduction of the excretion rate. The risk of a physiological deficiency and performance depression is also reduced. E.C.O.Trace® products also contribute indirectly to the stabilisation of other feed ingredients, such as vitamins and minerals. E.C.O.Trace® products can be mixed into the feed and are highly soluble in water.
